Knit One Save One

I sent off these four caps last year to the Save the Children - Knit One Save One campaign. Some caps and all the letters were delivered in January to the sitting President of the United States who was not impressed by our efforts. The campaign has started again but this time when the caps arrive in Washington in January there will be a NEW President and hopefully a new set of priorities for this country. If you are interested in the program follow the above link for more information.

Hi Sue. I am so glad you made this post with the link to Save the Children. I never knew of this worthy cause. I crochet and have gotten away from it after making a round of afghans for all the kids in the family. I plan to participate in this program.
Regards,
Carol

You are so right. I am hoping a lot of attitudes will be changing. We are old enough to know a president can't do everything they'd like to but it helps to have the right attitude to begin with. I hope your hats get the credit they deserve this year.

Hi Sue. You are right. This year hopefully the white house will have some seriously different attitudes and your hats will be appropriately appreciated.

Sorry about the double posting. I kept coming up with Internet Explorer can't do something or other and so I'd try again. Now I see it went through anyhow.
